Fitness Classes and Triathlon Coaching in Malaga

During your stay here at Villa Andalucía in Competa you can still keep fit or continue training for your next triathlon.

Karen the owner of Chili Tri is an IRONMAN Certified coach and she is based very close to Villa Andalucia.

Chili Tri has a fully stocked open-air gym, and Karen offers fitness classes as well as a more Personalised Training sessions.

let’s have a look at what Karen offers alongside a brief descritpion of the classes:

Triathlon Coaching

  • A professional swim video analysis & coaching in their Endless pool, lake or sea
  • Run technique coaching
  • Full triathlon training plans from a BTF Level 3 Coach

Chili Fitness Classes

Karen offers classes in the mornings in the fresh mountain air at 8am, 8.30am or 9am depending on the time of year and weather, currently they are:

Metafit HIIT
Metafit is a HIIT workout using body weight exercises to increase your metabolism and burn fat set to music on our holistic terrace.

Static Cycling (Spinning)
Static cycling is on Europe only permanent outdoor Spin studio. The bikes face down the valley with view of the coast. It’s cycling to music with climbs, sprints, flats, jumps and Tabata tracks.

Kettlebells
Kettlebells is a class with background music where you can lift and swing various Kettlebell weights in our upper gym. Taught by a qualified Kettlebell instructor.

L1FT
L1FT is a fun resistance class using a barbell, plates and dumbbells set to music in our upper gym. It’s a bit like body pump.
Aqua Fitness
All classes are suitable for all fitness levels and progressions and regressions for exercises and always given by fully qualified instructors.

Fitness Camps

These are run by qualified personal trainers from the UK who come and stay for 4-7 days.

The clients stay here at Villa Andalucía Competa and visit Chili Tri for the fitness classes in Malaga.

The classes Chili Tri offer are:

  • Metafit HIIT
  • Static Cycling
  • Boot Camp/Circuits
  • Boxercise Boxing sparring
  • Pilates
  • Guided trail runs
  • Aquacise Aqua Running Endless Pool swimming
  • L1FTYou also have the opportunity to go on excursions to the coast for paddleboarding,kayaking and pedalos.

Karen can also arrange open water swimming.

On Saturday mornings you can join the Beach Run Spain which is a 5km run (our version of Park Run) on the coastline of Torre del Mar.
