Right on the edge of the village, Villa Andalucía is just a ten-minute walk from the centre of Cómpeta, where you will find excellent bars and restaurants offering you fine dining.
You will have peace and tranquility, breathtaking views of the coast and mountains, and spectacular sunsets. Yet only 25 minutes from the beautiful beaches in the Axarquia region of Malaga.
If you are staying in the villa or in the appartement, you will have access to the big outdoor swimming pool and a beautiful mature gardens. There are ample sun loungers for everyone to relax on by the poolside, sipping your favourite drink and listening to the birdsong.
This is the beauty of staying in a small holiday let. Peace and tranquility at its best, taking you far away from your normal, hectic stressful life.

The Villa accommodates a maximum of 4 guests, while the Apartment accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. When booked together, both accommodations can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.
There are no extra beds or additional sleeping arrangements available, and the maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded. Children count as guests and are included in the maximum number of guests permitted.
Please note that Villa Andalucía is suitable for children aged 10 and over only.
When both the Villa and Apartment are booked together, the entire property is exclusively yours, including the pool and outdoor areas.

The pool and pool area are shared only when both the Villa and Apartment are booked at the same time. In that case, the pool is shared exclusively between the guests of both accommodations, with a maximum of 6 guests in total. The Villa accommodates up to 4 guests, but it is also frequently booked by couples or two guests travelling together.
Yes. Both the Villa and Apartment are equipped with modern, energy-efficient air conditioning and heating. The Villa has climate control throughout the entire house, including the living room, dining room, kitchen and upper floor, ensuring a comfortable temperature throughout the property all year round. Our units are new or nearly new inverter systems, and during the day our solar panels help power them, reducing energy consumption.
Bed linen and towels are provided, and both the Villa and Apartment are fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The Apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, while the Villa has a spacious fully equipped kitchen. To help reduce unnecessary waste, we do not provide single-use toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel, so we kindly ask guests to bring their own personal care products.

Yes, children aged 10 and over are welcome at Villa Andalucía. As there are stairs leading to the pool area, we recommend adult supervision when children are using the pool and outdoor areas.

Yes, parking is available on the roadside of the Villa. Upon arrival and departure, you are welcome to temporarily park at the guest entrance to unload or load your luggage. Cars can then be parked along the roadside. Please note that vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s risk.
We recommend renting a car at Málaga Airport. Car rental prices in Spain are still surprisingly affordable. Our advice is to book through Sunny Cars or Malaga Car.
From the airport, it is about a one-hour drive to Villa Andalucía.
Having a rental car gives you the freedom to explore the beautiful surroundings and visit nearby towns and villages such as Torrox, Nerja and Frigiliana.
Due to the traditional layout of the property, Villa Andalucía is not fully accessible for guests with limited mobility. There are stairs within the property and stairs leading to the pool area. If you have any mobility concerns or specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking and we will be happy to provide more information.
Villa Andalucía was taken over in February 2026 by Rolf (46) and Vegter (40). Until 2023, we lived on the beautiful island of Bonaire for several years. During that time, Rolf worked in the hospital on the emergency department and ambulance service, while Vegter worked as a marketing manager for one of the island’s largest supermarkets.
After almost two years living in Amsterdam, we decided it was time for a new adventure and made the decision to move to Spain. After searching for more than a year, we finally found the place that truly felt right: Villa Andalucía.
We feel incredibly happy and proud to continue the story of this special place and hope to welcome you very soon to enjoy a relaxing stay in the villa or the apartment.
The story of Villa Andalucía
Villa Andalucía has a rich history. For almost 20 years, it was lovingly run as a welcoming Bed & Breakfast by its previous owner, Helen.
At the beginning of 2026, we had the privilege of becoming the new owners of this special place. While preserving its authentic Andalusian character, we have carefully renovated the property and created a beautifully appointed villa and apartment, designed for guests who value comfort, privacy and tranquillity.
Today, Villa Andalucía accommodates a maximum of just 6 guests, ensuring an exclusive and peaceful atmosphere. Whether you choose the villa, the apartment, or both together, we hope you’ll feel at home and create unforgettable memories in beautiful Andalusia.
