Officially launched on 10th August, this Bus City Tour service is the newest venture of Alsa, a renowned bus company already managing local routes in Málaga and beyond.

Starting its journey from the iconic Torre del Mar lighthouse, the sightseeing bus offers a comprehensive tour, not only around Vélez-Málaga but also extending to Caleta de Vélez. The journey encapsulates the region’s rich heritage with stops at significant sites, such as the bustling Paseo Larios, the historic Caleta fish market and harbour, the former railway station, and the captivating Virgen de los Remedios chapel atop ‘El Cerro’ in Vélez-Málaga. The city tour also takes visitors through the heart of Vélez-Málaga town centre and winds up at the Azucarera, the old sugar cane factory in Torre del Mar.

This current service offers 16 stops, granting tourists the flexibility to hop on and off at their leisure over six hours, ensuring they can fully immerse themselves in each location.”

€9 individuals over the age of 12 
€5 children aged between 5 to 12
Free for under 5‘s 

Tickets for the city tour are available directly on the bus, or for those who like to plan ahead, they can be purchased at the Torre del Mar lighthouse stand, Alsa ticket counters in Malaga, Torre del Mar, and Nerja, as well as through Alsa’s local partners. Ensuring accessibility for all, the bus is equipped for those with reduced mobility and even comes with a retractable roof, perfect for unpredictable weather.
