Winter in this part of southern Spain is a world away from the cold and grey weather further north. Sunny days are common, temperatures are often pleasant and the surrounding mountains and coastline remain just as beautiful. Of course, the weather can change, but even in the cooler months there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

The quieter season is perfect for discovering the Axarquía at your own pace. Go hiking in the mountains, explore the white villages, visit Málaga, spend a day at the coast or simply enjoy a long lunch without having to worry about the clock.
